Anita is an experienced equality, diversity, equity and inclusion (EDEI) professional with over 25 years of experience. She is a passionate and dynamic trainer and advisor, with a wealth of knowledge in a variety of sectors, including education, social and health care, policing & crime, children and young people, VAWG (violence against women and girls), and media, arts & culture.
She has a proven track record of delivering high-quality training and facilitation for a diverse range of clients, including the Metropolitan Police, Mayor's Office, Civil Service, and many statutory, charity and public bodies.
Anita specialises in a range of training areas including, overcoming conscious and unconscious bias, inclusive leadership and development, recruitment and retention, creating equitable workplaces, building inclusive skills, managing diverse teams, inclusion allies, and conscious inclusion. As an EDEI expert, she provides and implements solutions to complex inclusion challenges, delivers expert advice and guidance, develops and implements strategic policies and make recommendations to inform business action plans to measure impact and systemic change.
As a qualified researcher, Anita has recently completed extensive equality reviews for a health-related professional body, a young people's charity, social justice charity, and a leading health research organisation. She has worked with leaders and changemakers as well as frontline professionals to create a culture of everyday and intentional inclusion.
Anita is a school governor, an active member of a statutory scrutiny panel, and Chair of an EDI committee, demonstrating her commitment to making a positive impact on society. With her breath of experience and expertise, Anita is well-positioned to support organisations in their efforts to create inclusive workplaces and foster lasting behaviour change.
